We all know that Spider-Man: No Way Home is something with hype as massive as the last Avengers film. The trailer revealed by makers resulted in the emergence of some of the significant theories and elements for the Multiverse. For those who don’t, the concept of Multiverse was established in the recently premiered Loki series on Disney+. Now thanks to Dr. Strange and Peter Parker’s urge to erase the identity of Spider-Man from the world, the villains from other dimensions start to appear. In the trailer, we saw Dr. Octopus saying, ‘Hello Peter.’
Though the movie is considered the biggest Marvel movie of 2021, a new revelation by Tom Holland might spoil your mood. In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said,
“We were all treating it as the end of a franchise, let’s say. I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you’d be seeing a very different version. It would no longer be the Homecoming trilogy. We would give it some time and try to build something different and tonally change the films. Whether that happens or not, I don’t know. But we were definitely treating it like it was coming to an end, and it felt like it.”

Is Spider-Man Ending As A Trilogy Again?
The question about the existence of Spider-Man standalone films after ‘No Way Home’ has been around for several months. The question comes from a legit point of view because Captain America and Iron Man had a trilogy. Thor is the only character who has broken the pattern of trilogies in MCU with the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder. However, reports say that Chris Hemsworth won’t be having a full-fledged role in the film, and it will revolve around Female Thor.
As per the statements by Tom Holland, who is known for giving spoilers apart from his role of Spider-Man, he thinks that Spider-Man might end with a trilogy, and No Way Home can be marked as the last standalone film featuring Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Nevertheless, nothing can be said as of now. The post-credit scene from the recent release Venom 2 guarantees that Venom and Spider-Man will be facing each other in one or the other coming films from the MCU. Does that mean that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man won’t have any more standalone features? It will be known once the movie releases on 17th December 2021.
