Guardians of the Galaxy 3: Adam Warlock To Make MCU Debut!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 hinted at a possible appearance of Adam Warlock in MCU at the end of the sequel. Now, it has been officially confirmed which Hollywood star will be portraying the mega character in MCU.

MCU fans will have to wait two years to see ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ because the film will be released in 2023. Not enough information about the plot has been revealed so far, but we are sure that the original team will be returning.

At the end of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’, we see hints on the following potential characters that can be seen in the next movie. In the post-credit scene of the second instalment, we witnessed the talks about Adam, who High Priestess Ayesha labels as incredibly strong, and one who can destroy the Guardians of the Galaxy. 

Those who don’t know which Adam the Priestess was referring to, it is Adam Warlock. The character has been in the comics for a long time and first appeared in the late 1960s. In the comics, Adam was created by scientists in their attempt to create a being.

Will Poulter As Adam Warlock

Adam Warlock is a character that has been rumoured to make its MCU debut for quite a long time. As reported by Deadline, it has been officially confirmed that Will Poulter will play the character of the new MCU villain in GOG 3. 

Poulter is known for his role in Maze Runner films and was last seen in the critically acclaimed Midsommar series. Director James Gunn confirmed Polter’s involvement in the movie. The director went on Twitter to announce the news of the new addition to their cast. 

The character in the comics became a part of Guardians of the Galaxy and even fought Thanos. It will be great to see how the character gets his shape in the MCU and whether he will act as the Villain or have a crucial role in MCU. We will know when the movie releases in 2023.
