Jack Ryan fans were pleased to know that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season even though a release date for the third season is not known. Amazon Prime Video officially renewed the show, and now a piece of news just made the fourth season more exciting. 

Michael Pena Joins Season 4

Following the popular character Jack Ryan, portrayed by John Krasinski, the character was previously played by legendary actors like Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck. 

Now, as reported by Deadline, another mega actor will be a part of the show. Michael Pena, famous for his role in Narcos, will be joining the fourth season as a lead character. 

Abbie Cornish Makes Return To The Show

Abbie Cornish, who portrayed the character of Cathy Mueller in the first season of the show, will resume her role in the just-announced Season 4. The actress and the character disappeared at the end of the first season, and so far, her disappearance has been a secret. So far, no information about the return of Cathy has been revealed.

Jack Ryan Season 4: Is There A Release Date?

Jack Ryan is one of Netflix’s most-watched TV series on Amazon Prime Videos. As of now, the makers do not reveal the release date for Season 3, so quoting a release date for Season 4 is extremely hard. But if it has to be stated, the fourth season can arrive in early 2023.

As reported by Deadline, the third season wrapped its production in October 2021. The Coronavirus pandemic immensely hit the production, which resulted in a massive delay in its planned schedule. The season was initially planned for a 2020 release but was then delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The second season was released in October 2019, but for the third season, it is expected that the season will arrive in mid-2022.
