Money Heist Season 5: Could They Save TOKYO?

Attention spoilers: This article is about the new fifth season “Money Heist” and contains spoilers and fan theories about the further course of the series.

It’s been a month since “Money Heist” Season 5 Part 1 went online on Netflix. Since then, there have been heated discussions about the end of the first part, but generally about each new episode, the development of the series, and the decisions made by the characters. It’s a state of emergency.

The robbers are now finally at war, and none of the previous seasons of “Money Heist” was as intense as the new fifth season. Losses, such as the “Money Heist” deaths of Nairobi (Alba Flores), Berlin (Pedro Alonso), Oslo (Roberto García), and Moscow (Agustín Ramos), were seen in the previous “Money Heist” seasons for a few OMG moments. But you felt this every 10 minutes in the new episodes in season 5. Especially the last episode left many fans speechless.

“Money Heist”: Who Is To Blame For Her Death?

Tears welled up in our eyes when the series favorite Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) is riddled with dozen bullets and dies. Ok, she let it rip beforehand by arming some grenades and blowing herself up with her archenemy Gandia (Jose Manuel Poga) and the other enemy soldiers. That was a blatant finish, as we would have expected from a strong personality like Tokyo. She sacrificed herself for her team. But could the death of Tokyo have been avoided?

“Money Heist” fans write down their opinions on this event on Reddit, and there is no avoiding a claim on social networks. They blame (among other things) Stockholm (Esther Acebo) for the death of Tokyo. A few minutes before Tokyo, Denver (Jaime Lorente) and Manila (Belen Cuesta) were locked in the kitchen, and she injected herself a dose of morphine to numb her mental pain.

She shot her ex-lover and the father of her child, the most hated character in “Money Heist” Arturo (Enrique Arce), and had remorse because she didn’t know whether he would survive. It was only when the drugs subsided that Stockholm heard Denver’s voice, discovered the hidden elevator shaft, and radioed Denver to let Denver know. Fans are sure, if Stockholm hadn’t taken a shot, she would have heard Denver’s voice much sooner and could have given the three of them more notice.
