‘Star Wars: Ashoka’ Hayden Christensen Confirmed As Anakin Skywalker

Hayden Christensen will be seen more often on Disney + in the future: In addition to “Kenobi,” the actor from Anakin will also return for “Star Wars: Ahsoka.”

Even a good 16 years after the appearance of ” Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The “Star Wars” fans are still divided when it comes to the performance of Hayden Christensen as the later Darth Vader. But actor Christensen will now have another opportunity to prove himself in the galaxy far, far away.

Hayden Christensen returns for the series ” Star Wars: Ahsoka ” on Disney + as Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker. As the usually well-informed industry journal The Hollywood Reporter has learned from several sources.

Darth Vader in 2 “Star Wars” Series on Disney+

It had long been clear that Hayden Christensen would play alongside Ewan McGregor in the upcoming miniseries “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy announced, “the rematch of the century” between Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader a year ago.

Now Hayden Christensen is also involved in “Star Wars: Ahsoka.” However, since the series takes place around five years after the events of “Star Wars: Episode VI – The Return of the Jedi” and Darth Vader is dead at this point. The question arises of how exactly he will appear in “Ahsoka.”

An Appearance As A Power Spirit – Or Is It A Flashback?

Dead is not dead in the “Star Wars” universe. It is well known that beings endowed with power can return as spirits of energy with which those still alive can also interact. So it is conceivable that Hayden Christensen appears in “Star Wars: Ahsoka” as the converted Darth Vader. Fans of the series should then look forward to a powerful spirit from Anakin Skywalker, as he can already be seen at the end of “Return of the Jedi.”
